At least you’re home a day or so earlier than you normally would be, which gives you time to restock before trudging off to work on Monday!
We’ve done the same thing several times with a freezer out in the garage. Perhaps these appliances should start beeping at you after they’ve been open for X seconds, much like a car beeps at you if you leave the door open or the headlights on…
